VERSUS! WEEK 4 RESULTS / WEEK 5 Submissions OF PERIL
Week 4 is over. Armies have risen and fallen to the call of their master’s trumpets.In the end, the peasant scum that congeal together to make Suedo Intellectual have stolen victory from the jaws of certain defeat.

This indignity is suffered solely through my indecision. Choosing the plain white painting rather than the full watercolor, which got 4 Reblogs, will cost me two hours of agony. And thus, Suedo will choose some terrible movie to inflict upon me and I will spend the rest of my life trying to forget the story of the Polish Parkour master who had to escape time-travelling Nazis who speak Esperanto who challenge the Washington Bullets to a game of street hoops.
This week’s challenge was to make a travel poster for a place in the world of A Song of Ice and Fire. One of the great things about ASOIAF is that every place has an impossibly in-depth history. Every single inch of the map of Westeros has been described to great detail by George Martin at some point. It makes it easy to recall from memory the details of some place just by mentioning the name.
And therefore, inspired by the great prop gag New Zealand travel posters from Flight of the Conchords and from some blog Suedo found, we made some travel posters for places in A Song of Ice and Fire seen at the top.
The HBO series does an incredible job of showing off the world they built which makes it very easy to find screen rips worthy of travel posters. I took the one of the Wall from the first episode. Same with the alternate ones I made, the one of the Twins turning out pretty good.
